Jacob’s Well Student Ministries
Jacob’s Well is our ministry to students (7th-12th grade). It exists to help students come to know and follow Jesus Christ, love His Church, and participate in His Kingdom that is at work in our world. Jacob’s Well is a dynamic community of students who love, grow and serve together. Sunday School is a great opportunity for our students to catch up on what is happening in each other’s lives, pray together, and hear how the words of Scripture apply to our lives today.
Sundays, 9:30 a.m.
Our weekly youth group meeting is called The Well. The Well is a mid-week opportunity for students to connect with Christ and each other. We spend our time playing games, eating great food, and growing in our faith through teachings from Scripture. Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m.

At Belleville First we know that time is precious. Every moment counts. We desire to partner with parents in communicating to children God’s amazing love for us and incite wonder and passion for God and God’s Kingdom.
Our Children’s workers are screened and receive training in child-safe practices in order to provide a safe and secure environment for your family. We also have provided a private spot for nursing mothers where the Worship service can still be heard in the infant nursery.
Ministries for Children
Early Childhood – We understand the important stage of our infants and toddlers. Our Early Childhood area is safe, secure and was created with them in mind.
Elementary – The Elementary school years are formative years in a child’s faith development. We want each of them to understand how big and amazing our God’s love is for them. Interacting with their peers in meaningful Sunday School classes is one of the ways we do that.
Another way is through our Children’s Church. Join us for fun, games, and interactive Bible stories on Sunday’s from 10:30-11:30. The first Sunday of every month is Communion Sunday. Children remain in the service on Communion Sunday and participate with their families in corporate worship.
Family Fun Nights – Once a quarter we plan a special night with food, fun, and fellowship for the whole family to enjoy. Check our calendar for the next Family Fun Night.
Vacation Bible School – VBS is an exciting summer outreach event where the church community, both young and old, come together to have fun, participate in crazy games, eat snacks and celebrate the awesomeness of our God.
Life is a journey. Along the way we encounter defining moments. Some of life’s defining moments are celebratory, others not so much. We have created spaces for you to journey with others through whatever path you are or have been on. Throughout the year we offer classes on Financial Peace, DivorceCare, GriefShare and Single and Parenting.
Financial Peace University – Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God’s ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be.
DivorceCare – Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before. DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.
GriefShare – You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. With GriefShare, you will find a caring group of people who will walk alongside you through times of loss, which are often life’s most difficult experiences. Find the help you need to face these difficult experiences and move toward rebuilding your life.
Single and Parenting – If you’re a single parent, you’re probably tired, overwhelmed and feeling a bit under appreciated. During Single and Parenting, you’ll meet with other single parents to learn and discuss some amazing parenting strategies and hope-filled insights.
We believe when we serve in the church, community, or world, our lives are changed. And so are the lives of the people we serve.
In the Church – Many hands and feet make our ministries happen every week. Are you available and willing to help? Do you have an hour to give each week? We have a variety of ways for you to get involved.
In the Community – We strive to be a community of light and love in the Metro East area of St. Louis. One way is by partnering with other ministries in the area. Another is through our summer lunch program with Whiteside Middle School.
In the World – Through our connection with the Global Nazarene church and our local Nazarene Missions International (NMI) committee, we periodically send out teams overseas to serve God by serving others. You will have the opportunity to see firsthand how people in others parts of the world live. See how great and how small our world really is.
