I have served at Belleville First Nazarene since September 2005, although, my wife, Lynne and I have been familiar with Belleville First since 1982 and have visited many times before receiving a call to serve as the lead pastor.

I was born in Kentucky and spent my teenage years in Pittsburgh, Pa.  I love the Steelers, cheer for the Penguins, and pray for the Pirates.  Most seasons the Pirates make it easy to be a Cardinal fan no later than June.

I am a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University (B.A. Religion - 1982) and Nazarene Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity – 1986; Doctor of Ministry – 2005).  I served as a youth pastor for 11 years in Grand Rapids, MI., and as an associate pastor for over 8 years at Detroit First Church of the Nazarene.   I have also worked as a Medical Social Worker in a trauma center in Michigan.

I have been married to Lynne (Quanstrom) since August 1981.  We have three children and one son-in-law; Josh & Melissa Nymeyer, Jesse (21), and Isaac (14).  A Basenji, named Cash, would be hurt if I did not include him as a part of the family – he is a bit sensitive for a dog.  We are expecting to be grandparents sometime in September 2011.

We love our church family, Belleville, and the St. Louis metro area (much easier winters).

Greetings!  My name is Matt Soulia and I have been on staff at Belleville First since 2008.  My passion is to guide students in their journey as they discover their own place in God’s bigger story.

I have been married to my beautiful wife Stephanie for over 4 years and have a dog (terrier mix) named “Samantha”.  I grew up in Michigan and graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois in 2007 with a degree in Youth Ministry.  I am currently enrolled in a Masters program through Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California (online).

I love sports, history, nature, good food, and travel.  We love Belleville First and feel so blessed to be small part of God’s work taking place here.  Grace & peace!

The summer of 2009 brought me and my family to Scott Air Force Base. My name is Andie Avram and in addition to being an Air Force wife for 14 years and mother to a son 11 and daughter 9. I am pursuing ordination in the Nazarene Church. Shortly after our arrival we began attending church at BFCN. After sharing my desire to serve I was given the opportunity to intern as I continued my education. At this time I have a degree from the Nazarene Bible College in Counseling for Christian Ministries and I am continuing my education. I love the outdoors, Idaho, spending time with my family and music. The friends we have made here are now family for us and we are so thankful.

My name is Lynne Dillman and I have been the Administrative Assistant here at Belleville First Church since 2007.  Has it been that long?  For a temporary hire, I have lasted a long time.  I guess it is working out.

This position covers four general areas of responsibility: Assistant to the Pastor, Office Administration, Administrative Assistance to Ministry Leaders and the Church Board, and Oversight and coordination of Building Services.  This position is fulfilling and rewarding. It is my passion to allow this position to be a ministry opportunity to the people I serve throughout the church. This involves making sure that supplies are on hand, the church is organized, and everyone and everything is in place for our times of worship, classes and meetings.
I love serving in this capacity and being available with my 'church family' here at Belleville First.  I hope to always serve the Lord with my capabilities and gifts.  I have been married to my wonderful husband for 29 years.  We have 3 children, 1 dog, 1 foster dog and 1 corn snake.  Life is good!  I attended Olivet Nazarene University for 2 years.  I enjoy working, reading, watching old black and white movies and antiquing.

My wife, Trisha, and I have attended BFCN since 1989 and I have led worship here for the past ten years. While I play guitar and keyboard, my primary instrument is my voice.

I am a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University with a B.S. in business administration and MBA from St. Louis University. I am a commercial banker and am blessed to serve BFCN in coordinating our music ministry as the worship leader.

I have been involved in church music since my teenage years and enjoy leading others into God's presence. "BFCN is richly blessed with many talented musicians. I am especially excited about the musical and spiritual development of many of our young people." I enjoy golf, hunting, camping and other outdoor activities. Trisha and I live in O'Fallon and have three children: Makenzie, Olivia and Reagan.
