KidCity - Children’s Ministries
KidCity is our ministry for children (Newborn – 6th grade). We desire to partner with parents in communicating to children God’s amazing love for us and incite wonder and passion for God and God’s Kingdom.
Our Children’s workers are screened and receive training in child-safe practices in order to provide a safe and secure environment for your family. We also have provided a private spot for nursing mothers where the Worship service can still be heard in the infant nursery.
Join us for fun, games, and interactive Bible stories on Sunday’s from 10:30-11:30 in Children’s Church! The first Sunday of every month is Communion Sunday, and children remain in the service and participate with their families in corporate worship.
EARLY CHILDHOOD - We understand the important stage of our infants and toddlers. Our Early Childhood area is safe, secure and was created with them in mind.
ELEMENTARY - The Elementary school years are formative years in a child’s faith development. We want each of them to understand how big and amazing our God’s love is for them. Interacting with their peers in meaningful Sunday School classes is one of the ways we do that.
SPECIAL EVENTS - We have special events throughout the year focused on kids, such as Vacation Bible School, Family Fun Nights, and more! Visit our events page to see upcoming events.
Grow
There are a variety of ways we encourage our children to grow in their walk with the Lord. Through our KidCity worship experience, Sunday School and quizzing every child is offered opportunities to grow closer to the Lord.
Connect
Through the various weekly ministries, each child is offered opportunities to connect with other children and their families.
Serve
We believe God has given each of us gifts and talents, especially children. Some of the ways children serve the church is through public Scripture reading, helping usher and various productions throughout the year.
Youth Ministry
Pastor Nicole and Beau hang out with junior high and high school kids sharing snacks and a lesson every other Sunday night at 5:30 downstairs. Check the events page or church calendar for dates. If you are interested in serving in the youth ministry let us know! Beau also serves as our NYI (Nazarene Youth International) Rep on the church board, so let him know if you have ideas for ways to connect with and/or serve our youth!
Grow
We teach, have dialogue with, and pray with our youth when we gather. We want to invite them into real discipleship and we also model this for the entire family in our Life Groups.
Connect
We believe that fellowship and relational ministry are both important for students to thrive spiritually. Like adults, students need the community of faith to help support, encourage, pray with, and be present in their lives.
Serve
Students are a vital part of the church today and not just the future. Our students have opportunities serve the church and the local community in a variety of capacities. We keep everyone informed of opportunities as they come along. Let us know if you have questions!
