Children’s and youth Ministries
“Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”
- Mark 9:37
KidCity - Children’s Ministries
KidCity is our ministry for children (newborn through 6th grade), and we love getting to partner with families as kids grow in their faith. Our desire is to help children discover just how much God loves them, while sparking a sense of wonder, joy, and excitement about Him and His Kingdom.
We know how important it is for parents to feel confident leaving their children in someone else’s care. That’s why all of our KidCity volunteers are carefully screened and trained in child-safe practices, creating a safe, secure, and loving environment for your family. We also offer a private space for nursing mothers, where the worship service can still be heard from the infant nursery.
Join us on Sundays from 10:30 am — 11:30 am for Children’s Church! Kids can expect fun, games, and interactive Bible stories designed just for them. On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate Communion together, and the older children stay in the main service to worship alongside their families (Tot Town & Nursery stay downstairs).
EARLY CHILDHOOD - We understand how special and important these early years are. Our nursery and toddler spaces are designed with your little ones in mind — safe, nurturing, and full of care — so you can feel at ease while they are with us.
ELEMENTARY - The elementary years are such an important time in a child’s faith journey. We want each child to know how deeply they are loved by God. Through meaningful lessons, friendships, and engaging Sunday morning experiences, kids grow in their understanding of who God is and how He is at work in their lives.
At this time, we do not have an older elementary class meeting, simply because we don’t currently have children in that age group. As soon as that changes, we’re excited to grow and add that class back in! If your child falls into this age range, we would love to connect with you and help you find the best option.
Grow
There are a variety of ways we encourage our children to grow in their walk with the Lord. Through our KidCity worship experience, Sunday School and quizzing every child is offered opportunities to grow closer to the Lord.
Connect
Through the various weekly ministries, each child is offered opportunities to connect with other children and their families.
Serve
We believe God has given each of us gifts and talents, especially children. Some of the ways children serve the church is through public Scripture reading, helping usher and various productions throughout the year.
Youth Ministry
Our youth group meets every Sunday night from 5:30 pm — 7:00 pm downstairs in the Teen Room. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where junior high and high school students can come as they are, hang out, build friendships, and grown in their faith together.
Pastor Nicole and Beau spend time with the students each week — sharing snacks, creating space for real conversations, and leading a lesson every Sunday night.
We also have special events throughout the year, so be sure to check the church calendar to see what’s coming up!
If you’re interested in serving in youth ministry, we’d love to connect with you. Stu Leach, our current NYI (Nazarene Youth International) representative on the church board, is always open to ideas and ways to better connect with and support our students — feel free to reach out to him or Pastor Nicole & Beau.
Grow
We teach, have dialogue with, and pray with our youth when we gather. We want to invite them into real discipleship and we also model this for the entire family in our Life Groups.
Connect
We believe that fellowship and relational ministry are both important for students to thrive spiritually. Like adults, students need the community of faith to help support, encourage, pray with, and be present in their lives.
Serve
Students are a vital part of the church today and not just the future. Our students have opportunities serve the church and the local community in a variety of capacities. We keep everyone informed of opportunities as they come along. Let us know if you have questions!
